I’m a physiotherapist and specialised on the pelvic floor, sex counselo r and Zwangerfit lecturer. Working in the medical section specialised on the pelvic floor for years I’ve worked with all age groups and gender identities. I wanted to gain more knowledge on gender identities so I started my training as a trans* consultant at DGTI e.V. In 2022, finishing the training this year.
Since the end of 2021, I have been a volunteer at the Regenbogenzentrum Geilenkirchen, an open meeting place with supportive counseling for LGBTIQIA+. I am also a member of the “Vielfalt mit Herz” association, which campaigns for the interests and rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and non-binary people in the Heinsberg district. Through these two activities, I am in constant contact with people from the LGBTQIA+ community, am sensitized to their issues and am constantly expanding my horizon of experience.
